Rico M. DiGuiseppe on August 5, 2017 age 84, of Berwyn, PA. formerly of Royersford, PA. Loving husband for 55 years to Eleanor (nee Fazzini) DiGuiseppe. Proud father of James (Linda) DiGuiseppe, Susan (Mark) Witts and Todd (Renee) DiGuiseppe. Caring grandfather to Megan, Karen, Lucy and Kerri DiGuiseppe. Brother of Amelia (Robert) Yeomon of Schwenksville, PA. Uncle, cousin and godfather to many. He is predeceased by eight brothers and sisters (Luigi, Constantina, Sabatino, A. Maria, John, Rosina, Paulina & Alvine)

Rico was a popular fifth grade teacher at Audubon and Woodland elementary schools in Methacton School District in Audubon PA. for 38 years, often recognized by former students years later in restaurants, vacations, and just out and about. Rico graduated from Royersford High school in 1952 where he starred on the football team as a center and Nose Guard and continue his playing career at Shippensburg University. He was also Treasurer of Alpha Phi Omega fraternity, graduating in 1958.
Rico was an avid Philadelphia sports fan as well as a Penn State football and Villanova basketball fan. After retiring from teaching, Rico enjoyed traveling, woodworking, yardwork and was a longtime election volunteer at the polls.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, August 11, at 10:30 at St. Monica Church in Berwyn. Int. St. Monica cemetery in Berwyn. Viewing Thursday Evening 6:00-8:00 pm at the Alleva Funeral Home Inc. 1724 E. Lancaster Ave. Paoli PA. and also Friday morning 9:30-10:20 at St. Monica Church.
